Our Mission
Our mission is to make raising kids more affordable for families. Whether it is families earning money by selling their gently used children’s items, or families saving hundreds of dollars purchasing items for their kids, we know we have helped them all financially. We want Sunflower Sprouts to be a place where our workers, sellers and shoppers feel at home sale after sale. We cherish every person that helps, sells and shops at our sale. We want to make sure they are treated with kindness and appreciation. This isn’t a job to us. This is us making a difference in our community and we hope others will spread the word about this opportunity so they too can make an impact in helping others as well.

August, 2021- a note from Jen & Leslie
We so very much appreciate the friendships we have gained over these years – starting all the way back at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Wexford, the Old Navy location at Northway Mall, the New Castle church locations, the old Value City location at Northway Mall and finally at PISA. All those years we continued to grow and gain valuable knowledge in this business. When we first started, our kids with just little and now three of the five will be in college this month while the other two are finishing high school. As our kids have grown, so our lives have changed and interestingly both Lesley and I came to the same decision at the same time that it was time to transition the business to someone who would carry on our trusted reputation as being the BEST CONSIGNMENT SALE in WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA!
Ecclesiastes 3: There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.
It is time to introduce you to a family you will be very excited to know: Meet the Stickle Family! Adam and Jen Stickle will be the new owners of Sunflower Sprouts, and as you can see below, they are already used to running a big family operation! Jen, you may very well recognize from her years of being at the sale. She has been a consignor, a vendor with us for years, a team member, and you probably recognize that both Adam and Jen were with us every step of the way during the Spring 2021 Sale as they learned how to do everything from sale setup to running a register, to sorting, to tear down.
One story we like to tell is how Jen was a vendor selling her Thirty-One products oh about 8 years ago at the old Northway Mall location, and she was very pregnant with her TWINS that she delivered like the next week!
They are so very EXCITED to start this fall sale! And we couldn’t be happier for them. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your years of friendship! Don’t worry, you will still see both Lesley and I! We are helping, consigning, and advising as needed – and we can’t wait to see you all!!
