DROP OFF DETAILS

Drop off day is a crazy, fun day! It is amazing to watch 75,000 items pour into the building in 36 hours! Please be patient. Please be kind. Wear a smile and tennis shoes! Bring a helper!

B.

MOVE YOUR CAR to a parking space

C.

Hang your clothes on a rolling rack (you might have to wait for one. Thank you for your patience)

3. Inspect

A.

An inspector will go through each item you bring in the building.

B.

Do your clothes have stains or holes? Are they hanging on a hanger? Is the hanger facing the correct direction? Is the tag in the correct spot? Is the tag the correct cardstock? (not colored or sparkly)

C.

Do your toys work? Do your baby items turn on? We will plug them in!

D.

Get CLAIM tags on things over $25 or that are too heavy to carry around the sale

4. Floor your items

A.

Plan for this to take 1-2hrs depending on how many items you’ve tagged and how fast you move. (You are allowed to bring a helper!) This will go faster if you have presorted your items! Sort your clothes by size and gender. Some people put garbage bags over the groups of clothes. Some use rubber bands or zip ties around the hangers to keep like items together. Put your baby items in another bin/box and your toys/games in another bin/box.

B.

Put out your clothes first! Get your clothes off the rolling racks so the next person can use it!

C.

Books get their own box! Just presort them at the “BOOK DROP OFF” table. Our wonderful book ladies will shelf them!

D.

To help your items sell best, floor your items in the correct department. If you have questions, please ask someone in yellow! Also, please reference the floor map!

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can I bring my kids?

A. Kids are always welcome at the sale! But, we don’t encourage it on drop off day because it’s loud, busy, overwhelming, and they are experiencing the loss of their toys and they see toys they might want but can’t have yet!

Q. What if I can’t come at my assigned time?

A. Come anyway! You’ll just have to wait in line behind those who are there at their assigned times.

Q. Can I bring someone to help me unload and floor my items?

A. YES! Just make sure they know where to put the items! To help your items sell best, floor your items in the correct department. If you have questions, please ask someone in yellow! Also, please reference the floor map!
